CaterUp! Lineup

Leaders from more than 25 leading restaurant brands, including Boston Market, Chik-fil-A, Corner Bakery, Dunkin’ Brands, Firehouse Subs, and many more, will share their expertise at CaterUp! in New Orleans, April 29-May 1. Scott Davis, President of Core Life Eatery and former Chief Concept Officer of Panera Bread, and Carmen Simon, a cognitive neuroscientist and founder of Memzy, will present keynote sessions at the conference. Davis will use his experience transforming well-known catering brands like Panera to demonstrate how to align a company’s brand strategy and its catering business. Simon, who has worked with McDonalds, P&G, Google and other leading companies, will share how brands can engage the brain to be more memorable to consumers.

CaterUp! was created for restaurant leaders who want to grow their share of the $61.5 billion1 U.S. catering market. The agenda, which was developed in partnership with top restaurants brands, includes practical advice from industry leaders and the unveiling of a new report by ezCater with industry research from Technomic. The 2019 State of Catering Report details the views and perspectives of restaurant operators on the impact catering is having on their industry, the areas where they have seen the most success, and the investments they plan to make in the future.

“The content and speaker lineup at CaterUp! are remarkable,” said David Meiselman, Chief Marketing Officer at ezCater. “The data we will share from our own marketplace and the research conducted by Technomic will bring new insight to the industry. Likewise, the industry leaders who will speak have an amazing amount of experience to share with their peers, and we are very excited to bring them together in New Orleans.”

Beyond the panels and keynotes featuring restaurant operators, sessions include an innovation panel with speakers from Google and Kitchen United covering the latest technologies impacting the restaurant industry, and a consumer insights panel where restaurant operators will hear directly from catering buyers about their preferences, pain points, and expectations. Attendees will also learn about the newest catering products and services from suppliers such as Chowly, Canary Marketing, DeliverThat, Freebird Rides, ItsaCheckmate, Knoah Solutions, Soggy Food Sucks, and WebbMason Marketing.

Event passes are still available and include all sessions, keynotes, meals, receptions, including an event at the New Orleans Culinary & Hospitality Institute (NOCHI), and a discounted hotel rate. For tickets, sponsorships, or more details about CaterUp!, visit www.caterup2019.com.
