Dine Out Connecticut

More than 100 Connecticut Restaurant Association restaurants from throughout Connecticut are participating in a new week-long initiative to encourage people to support the state’s restaurant industry. Restaurants across the state will offer an array of choices, which will include prix fixe menus, specials, discounts and more. The week-long promotion will run from Monday, February 25 through Sunday, March 3 and all menus and specials can be found online at www.DineOutCT.com.

“Our goal with rebranding the CRA’s Restaurant Week to Dine Out Connecticut is to recognize the incredible restaurant industry that we have in our state,” said CRA Executive Director Scott Dolch. “We hope this week-long initiative will encourage customers to try new restaurants and give restaurants a chance to reach a new client base.”

All participating restaurants are supporting the Connecticut Hospitality Educational Foundation (CHEF), the CRA’s 501(c)(3) non-profit organization that is dedicated to the development of future restaurant industry leaders through educational scholarships and programs like ProStart®, a two-year culinary and management program for high school students.

On Friday, March 1, the Connecticut ProStart® Invitational will be held at Gateway Community College, where high-school students will compete for scholarships and a chance to represent Connecticut at the 2019 National ProStart® Invitational in Washington, D.C. in early May.
